Expressing your emotions in public
Artistic nude photography has been one of the great passions of my life. I’m endlessly drawn to the process—creating the work, studying it, collecting books, and reflecting on its many layers. It’s something I return to again and again, both in thought and in practice.
Many of you who read this newsletter share a similar appreciation, and I love seeing how the images resonate with you. But I’d like to take a moment to reflect on how we respond to the work and to each other.
When you share a comment—whether publicly or via email—imagine yourself speaking on a stage, with many others listening in. Would you still express yourself the same way?
Behind each photo is a collaboration built on trust and artistic intention. A photographer and model come together to create something personal, vulnerable, and deliberate. Emotional responses and personal reflections are welcome. Thoughtful critique is welcome. But I ask that all reactions remain respectful—not only to the art, but to the people behind it.
Let’s make this a space that uplifts rather than reduces the intent and care that goes into this work.
Thanks for being here,
Imar
Enjoy your weekend!
