This week I want to pay tribute to Marc Lagrange, who passed away in a car accident on the 15th of december 2015, leaving behind a vast collection of photos, both commissioned as personal work.
The Belgian artist searched for longing and sensuality in his personal work, ranging from intimate portraits to elaborate decorated sets with multiple models and/or animals.
Below you find just five photos out of his extensive body of work. For more photos, please visit his website. Make sure to check out his books too! I briefly covered his book called Chocolate in Five Nudes Friday #13.

Please check out his books, they are amazing! Most of them sold out, but available second hand.
The coming days are never my type of days… too many social obligations. In between those moments it’s always nice to recharge with some good photo books.
I would really appreciate it if you shared The Nude Canvas Newsletter among your photography friends! Thank you!
Be well!
It's interesting to look at the body of a shooters work and be able to see consistency in their lighting. From the use of the light, to the processing, their style is discernible. Great post.
