First, what a great commentary and photo about your journey. The photo had me looking at it much longer than I expected, trying to place myself along the path of that misty forest. Japan has many faces. This trip I experienced the misty woods and temples of Shikoku island, the serene house in Kyoto, and the energetic metropolis of Tokyo.
I hope you get to see many aspects of Japan too, and feel just as at home as I did!
